Splined Rivet Nut

MEMFast Ribbed or Splined Rivet Nuts are used in applications ranging from electric door assemblies on buses to domestic appliances. Available in thread sizes M4 to M16 with grip ranges up to 7.9mm for standard products, MEMFast can supply all head styles, body diameters, materials and open/closed end versions. Standard finish is CR3 Clear (Chrome Free)

Hexagon & Part Hexagon Rivet Nuts

MEMFast Full Hexagon and Part Hexagon Rivet Nuts are used in the fabrication of chiller cabinets and domestic boilers. Available in M4 to M10 in steel and stainless steel, they are supplied with Flat or Thin Sheet head styles and in open and closed end versions. Our standard plating is CR3 Clear (chrome free).

Hinges

MEMFast hinges are supplied in brass, steel and stainless steel to customers’ specific requirements. Current applications for brass butt hinges with nickel plating include internal doors on units in touring caravans.

Rivets

MEMFast Rivets are available in all materials, body styles and head styles together with open and closed end variants. Manual and power setting tools can also be supplied.

Rubber Nuts

MEMFast Rubber Nuts are made from EPDM with brass or stainless steel inserts and are ideal for applications requiring vibration resistance and sealing capability. They are used in applications including the fixing of front, side and rear light units on touring caravans. Rather than being installed with a tool, the Rubber Nut is installed using the mating screw and can be re-used if necessary as the body relaxes when the screw is taken out. The Rubber Nut is available in M3 to M12 with wide variations in grip ranges.

Screw Anchors

MEMFast Screw Anchors provide female threads into brittle or irregular materials such as plastics, GRP and fibreglass. Available in thread sizes M4 to M6, grip ranges of up to 10mm are provided for. They are used in applications such as mobile telecommunications units to fix internal shelves and components onto internal wall panels.

Rivet Studs

MEMFast Rivet Studs can replace self-clinch and weld studs in applications where a male thread is required in a panel. Available in thread sizes M4 to M10 with grip ranges up to 7.9mm, MEMFast can manufacture Rivet Studs for customers’ individual requirements. Standard finish is CR3 Clear (Chrome Free). Setting tools are also available to install the Rivet Studs.

NYLON NUTS

MEMFast Nylon Nuts provide an economical means of putting a female thread into a panel and provide an interesting alternative to Rivet Nuts due to the fact that they can be easily installed and removed without special tooling. This easy instrallation, together with the fact that they can be re-used, just like the MEMFast Rubber Nuts, makes them ideal for use in low volume and on-site applications, where the absence of special tooling is an issue. Larger volume applications can also benefit from the ease of assembly and in place performance.

MEMFast Nylon Nuts are available with White and Black Nylon Cages and Brass or Aluminium Inserts from M3 to M8 Metric Thread Sizes.

Flexi-Nuts

MEMFast Flexi-Nuts combine the flexibility of our Screw Anchors with the strength and performance of our Rivet Nuts. Available in either straight or bulbed versions, the Flexi-Nut provides a large blind side load bearing area which splits and expands without creating sharp edges. This high strength, slotted body fastener has a flat head and is available in M4 to M10 metric thread sizes with grip ranges from 0.5mm to 12.7mm. The standard product is steel with CR3 Clear finish. Due to its design and setting characteristics, the Flexi-Nut can be used in plastic as well as metal panels, with access required from only one side.
