MEMFast Launches its own range of high strength Threaded Inserts

MEMFast (Make Ends Meet Limited) has launched its own range of high strength Threaded Inserts.

This comprehensive range of very robust inserts is available in both steel and stainless steel and with Metric Coarse, Imperial (Whitworth), UNC and UNF threads.

Whilst standard lengths are available from stock, special lengths to customers’ particular requirements can also be supplied.

MEMFast Threaded Inserts are one piece fasteners threaded both internally and externally and are designed to repair damaged threads and produce new permanent threads in a wide range of components. They are very tough and durable due to their substantial wall thickness and can be used in castings, gearbox assemblies, sump pans and also thinner sections together with applications in general maintenance, repair and production.

Features

Available in Steel (230M07PS Mild Steel) with CR3 Clear plating (ROHS Compliant) and Stainless Steel (303S31) in natural finish.
Metric Coarse threads (M4 to M18 internal and M6 to M22 external) Imperial (Whitworth), UNC and UNF equivalents.
Standard lengths available from stock – special lengths available to customers’ requirements.
After threading the screw into the insert, apply a good quality stud locking compound to the external thread and insert into the tapped hole. Allow recommended time to cure.
